The mission of the Christian Service team is to meet the physical, spiritual, and emotional needs of those broken and hurting in any way. This team requires stewards who have kind, compassionate hearts and wish to perform purposeful deeds in the Spirt of our Lord and the Blessed Virgin Mary. The team encompasses several ministries, including the food pantry, Christmas giving tree; LOVE, Inc.; casserole crew, & homebound ministry (see “Ministries” for more information).

The primary work of the Finance and Administration team includes budget preparation, support of parish administration activities, and providing recommendations to the Pastor and Parish Council regarding financial and administrative matters. The team also promotes interaction and communication among other parish teams, is focused on the common goals of the parish, and helps to maximize stewardship of parish resources. We need stewards who understand finance strategies and are detail-oriented. We are always in need of people of vision who can keep our parish on the path of fiscal responsibility.

The Knights of Columbus is a fraternal Catholic family service organization, dedicated to the ideals of charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism. Our programs allow families to work together to aid their church, their community, and one another. We have fun doing good deeds and raising money to give away to needy causes.

The Men’s Club is open to all men of the parish who wish to help the less fortunate throughout our local community. We provide assistance and cooperation for the other organizations within the parish and help provide an avenue to generate funds for special needs within the parish. Our goal is always to live the stewardship we profess.

The Parish Pastoral Council functions as an advisory team for the welfare of the parish. Each team and major ministry is represented on the council. There are also members with no affiliation (chair, secretary, members-at-large).

The Rosary Altar Society is a ministry of parish women who promote devotion to the Blessed Mother and praying the rosary. Our purpose is to assist the priest in common goals and attend to the needs of the sanctuary. We perform deeds of a spiritual, social, and material nature for the members of our parish and community, including funeral luncheons and making rosaries.

We are an umbrella team creating an environment appropriate to the liturgical season in accordance with the General Instruction of the Roman Missal (GIRM). We embrace the following ministries: Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, Proclaimers of the Word, Altar Servers, Sacristans, Music Director and Choir, Cantors, Ushers, Greeters, and Liturgical Art and Environment. Our role is to assist our Pastor and serve our parish by planning feasts , missions, liturgical music, and devotional services; training and coordinating lay ministers; developing worship aides; and catechizing through the bulletin’s “Three Minute Message”.
